Paris – day two

So , I’ve been busy and only realised this morning that I hadn’t written or posted day 2 yet so here goes

So on the second day we were extremely rushed as we were going to Disney and after Disney straight to the train station to go home so it was a bit manic. Because we were so rushed that I didn’t have time for breakfast till later so we headed to the station and let me tell you I’ve never loved French underground more than I did then three words DOUBLE DEKER TRAIN (seriously have no clue why this excited me so much but it really did) I personally think England need to look into this I don’t even care if they were pointless, they are cool end of .

So on the train we were sat next to a German/English family who were here on holiday and they had a baby and a seven year old with an incredible voice now normally if I was on a train and a kid started singing  the whole time I’d want to strangle them but not this girl she was really talented and she was my entertainment for the majority of the train ride. Once we were in Disney we went to get a sandwich from a cafe and they were selling this ham and cheese roll that I really wanted so we brought it up to them man who asked me to give it to him so it could be toasted, I refused I really didn’t want it toasted and the man looked at me as if I’d just insulted him and he told me that it would be terrible so I still refused because at this point even if I wanted to toasted I wouldn’t give in to this irritating man who was constantly telling me I was wrong so I got out my money and said “sorry, I think I know what I want” and walked out with my sandwich .

I’m not personally a rides person so Disney for me is more the atmosphere but there is one ride I have to go on if I’m in Disney which is it’s a small world which is the creepiest ride ever it’s basically a water ride where dolls in cultural clothing singing the most creepy and repetitive song ever “it’s a small world after!” Repeated in about ten languages and I really apologise if you’ve been on the ride and your reading this and that song is now etched in your brain .P1010319

The rest of the day we went to the other park which was the studios and I loved the stuff they had there especially the tram ride which showed you how special effects are made and you got to feel an earth quake will explosions happened and gallons of water were thrown on top of you it was really awesome P1010329

After that we went to the train station and went home I personally love Paris and hope to go back there at some point . I hope you enjoyed this post my next post might be a bit geeky not sure if I’m going to do it though x

Like and comment see you next time x

On The Town

Recently I got the chance to go see a new theatre thing in London which is so cool it’s basically theatre but outside and because it was summer it was lovely and hot the place where it was held had a barbecue so you could sit on the grass before the show and eat burgers now when i heard about this I was a bit worried that the burgers where going to be those cheap burgers you get in tesco but no these burgers were incredible! I would even say they were the best burgers I have had in a long time and they were served on these fancy wood slabs.

after a while we went inside and I was taken back by how cool the set was because the show is about three sailors so the set looks like shipping containers stacked on each other.

On the town is a musical about three sailors named Gabey,Ozzie and Chip who are in New York for 24 hours as they search for a girl named Ivy for gabey. the whole show was amazing. the show had singing and dancing and both were so good all the dancers where extremely talented (I can do the Macarena but that’s about it) they had one of the ex-strictly come dancing winners Danny Mac he played Gabey

In the second part of the show the set changes a bit to make it look like a club with neon blue made me really happy how at the beginning of the play it was bright and light out then when the show was set in the evening it was going dark it really added an atmosphere to the show

I really recommend this show to anyone even if you’re not that big on musical because the whole atmosphere of it is incredible and its such a different experience that I couldn’t recommend it any higher

I hope you enjoyed this post see you soon x1141

So as the half term comes to an end I wanted to write about what I got up to over the holiday. So I got the chance to go to Madrid for 3 days and it was so pretty I took loads of photos and I will put them in today’s blog. So for me the worst thing about going on holiday is the fact that we always have to get up at stupid o’clock and for a person like me who likes their sleep this is the WORST and I did warn my family not to irritate me for their sake as well as my own.

Once we got on the plane I realised that for some reason Madrid must have been a hen/stag party hot spot because they were everywhere. Behind us we’re a rowdy stag party that my Nan decided needed to be put in their places (which was both hilarious and extremely awkward)

One thing I loved on this trip was the endless amounts of tapas. Now on the first day we went to a small traditional tapas restaurant and the food was amazing (don’t ask me what I ate I physically don’t know I get people to order for me and just hope for the best) the waiter was really nice and his English was quite good (my Spanish is quite bad) the only problem was I nearly broke his foot . He was moving our table and I moved my chair thinking I was being helpful and ended up with my chair on his foot with all my weight pushing down on it he pretended it didn’t hurt (it did) I felt terrible I’d been in the country for a few hours and I’d already injured someone

The apartment we were staying at was really nice all the furniture was modern looking (IKEA!!!!!) and the view was very pretty the one fault I had for the place was the fact everything kept breaking the shutters broke the telly broke my nan blew the light bulb in the middle of the night which meant the fuse box went weird so the air conditioner wouldn’t turn off (I was FREEZING) it was actually quite funny in the end

on the second day we went to go see the palace that’s in Madrid which was so gorgeous and it reminded me of Buckingham palace except in 30 degree weather

on our last day we went shopping and I found a mug that i had to share with you!

here’s some of my photography from the trip x

I hope you enjoyed this post comment your favourite places to go on holiday x
